We report with sadness the death of Christopher Marler, our President and former Chairman, on July 6th 2019 following a short illness. Christopher’s infectious enthusiasm for birds and other animals was entirely undimmed, and he conducted most of the day to day management of his varied collection of wild and domestic birds and cattle until he was taken ill. He was always happy to share his knowledge and experience and is a great loss to the Society, to aviculture, and to livestock breeding and exhibiting. Our thoughts are with his family.
There will be a memorial service at St Peters and St Pauls Church, Olney at 2:30pm on Thursday, September 12th.
