Avicultural Society members are invited to the Aviculturists’ Day at Beale Park in Berkshire on Sunday August 4th. This is a great opportunity to see a well-managed collection in pleasant surroundings, and meet members of our own and other societies – the Parrot Society, International Turaco Society and World Pheasant Association, and possibly other groups, will also be there.
Members should bring the latest magazine to gain free admission for themselves and their families (up to two adults and two children). We will be based in the education building along with other clubs. The opening of a new range of aviaries to mark the Avicultural Society’s 125th anniversary will take place at midday.
The event is open to any non-members interested at normal admission rates. The Park is open from 10am – 6pm. RG8 9NW.
