Author Guidelines
The Hon. Editor of the AVICULTURAL MAGAZINE welcomes articles and news items from both members and non-members (no payment is made).
These can be about any aspect of bird keeping concerning non-domesticated species that is likely to be of interest to aviculturists.
Ideally, articles submitted for publication should not have been published elsewhere.
Preferably they should be typewritten, with double spacing. Articles can also be received as an e-mail attachment to editor@avisoc.co.uk or on disk, in both cases as text files and backed up with hard copy by post.
Line drawings, black and white or colour photographs can be used to illustrate articles and should be clearly captioned. Tables and graphs will be used whenever possible, but authors must be aware of the constraints of reproduction particularly with regard to the width of the page of the magazine, which is 105mm. Graphs should be accompanied by the relevant source data.
